MI W vs GG W | Twitter in awe of Harmanpreet as she turns cameraman’s delight with classic pose
T20 cricket is not always about slambang hitting, and Harmanpreet Kaur showed why during the WPL game against Gujarat Giants in Navi Mumbai. The Mumbai Indians skipper just extended the copybook extra cover drive to loft it over the ropes, showing tremendous class and timing, to hold her pose.
In the chase, the hosts lost both openers early, inside five overs, with the score reading just 37 runs. But Amanjot Kaur and Harmanpreet Kaur put the innings back on track, bringing up their 50-run association in 30 balls, including eight boundaries, as the target came to 105 in the last 10 overs.
With the Indian skipper looking in majestic touch, pacer Renuka Singh was brought back into the attack to get rid of her. But Harmanpreet sent the crowd into raptures with a majestic lofted extra cover drive straight from the copybook.
The Gujarat pacer bowled the second ball right on the slot outside off stump as the veteran batter made a front-foot stride before clearing mid-off with her sheer timing. The ball continued to soar before making its ground just outside the boundary cushion with Harman holding her pose for the cameras.
Twitter got goosebumps as Harmanpreet showed that proper cricketing shots are here to stay, even in the shorter format of the game.
What a shot!

Crucial
Sajana with crucial 45 against RCB, now Amanjot in this match against GG, MI batting is the most reliable to get them on par score in every match. In bowling, Harman hardly experiments with indian bowlers, 16 overs of OS bowling locked, indians will get only max 4-5 overs.

Harman to anchor
94 off 54 with Kerr and Carey still to go is quite doable. Important for Harman to anchor and let Amanjot smash

She likes no. 4
I know she likes the No. 4 spot but Harman shouldn't be coming below Amanjot in a 190+ runchase when the team was 37/2.

Really?
harman is an underachiever.
