Hardik Pandya has always been seen as a temperamental cricketer, and he was at it again in the second T20I against New Zealand. The Indian all-rounder bowled a jaffa off the last ball of his second over before bursting out, at the end of his run-up, with a loud shout in the batter’s direction.

‌New Zealand got off to a great start after being asked to bat by India in the second T20I in Raipur on Friday. Openers Devon Conway and Tim Seifert came up with a barrage of boundaries against Arshdeep Singh to power the Kiwis to 43/0 in just three overs.

However, the home side came back into the contest with the wicket of both openers in the next two overs. Though the Kiwis lost wickets at frequent intervals, their middle order scored runs at a brisk pace, keeping the side’s pursuit of a total beyond 200 intact.

Despite giving away just seven runs in his first over, medium pacer Hardik Pandya had to wait till the 17th over, amid all the carnage, to get his second. And he did not disappoint, giving away just six runs and also picking the crucial wicket of Mark Chapman to keep the Kiwis quiet.

And he was frustrated as well, having to wait for such a long time to be brought into the attack. Just after bowling a jaffa to Zak Foulkes in the final delivery, with the ball pitching on a short of a length outside off stump before rising and going past the willow, the Mumbai Indians captain burst out.

He let out a loud shout in the direction of the New Zealand all-rounder just after his follow-through. The batter, however, ignoredthat with a cold phase as he walked towards his skipper Mitchell Santner for the change of ends.

Twitter was also perplexed as to why the medium pacer burst out in the first instance, and why was it towards Zak Foulkes as the batter had just walked in.

Heated moment!

Why?

Safe hands!

oh!

Are you sure!

Why!

Without any reason!

Angry pandya!

Expensive!
