Sai Sudharsan has once again done well for the Indian team in the longest format of the game. Preparing for the Sri Lanka tour in the next few weeks, he is a part of the India A team against Sri Lanka A. While opening for the team, he went on to score a massive total of 132 runs.

The first unofficial Test between India A and Sri Lanka A has started, with the Indian team dominating against the Lankans. Even though the other batsmen failed to do well in the match against the Sri Lanka A bowlers, one batsman was able to give them a great challenge.

And it was none other than the Indian opener, Sai Sudharsan. He opened for the India A team and went on to complete his century in just 130 balls. Following this, Sudharsan went on to score 132 runs for the team in just 175 balls before he lost his wicket.

His knock has given the team a strong start in this game, even when the other top order batsmen failed to score runs. Along with that, this is also a positive for the Indian team, which will be continuing its WTC cycle in the coming weeks against Sri Lanka.

Here's how Twitter has reacted to Sai Sudharsan’s knock.

Scoreboard Tells a Story

The scoreboard of the India A team is telling a story. A story of how the other batters such as Devdutt Padikkal and Ruturaj Gaikwad failed to perform but Sudharsan constantly stood at the other end.

Mr Consistent

Sai Sudharsan could be termed as the Mr Consistent for the Indian team. He already gave some strong performances in the IPL, and now dominates in the longest format.

Another Pujara Moment

Fans have started to call Sai Sudharsan the Cheteshwar Pujara of the modern generation. But it should be noted that Pujara has his fastest ton in just 130 balls in the Test format.
