The series between New Zealand and South Africa has now taken a sharp turn. The Proteas have come out victorious in the fourth T20I, which makes the last game a do-or-die for both teams. Will it be the T20 World Cup 2024 runner-up or T20 World Cup 2026 runner-up who take the series?

The South Africa tour of New Zealand is now getting more intense for the cricket fans. The fourth match of the series made the fans think whether the Kiwis can secure the series win in this game or not. But the Proteas made an impressive comeback, as the series now stands at 2-2 level, making the last game a do-or-die.

South Africa was batting first in this game, as the team didn't get off to a good start. But Connor Esterhuizen and Rubin Hermann went on to have a good stand. Esterhuizen brought up a half-century, and eventually the Proteas finished at 164 for the loss of 5 wickets. Kyle Jamieson was able to take 2 wickets for the Kiwis.

New Zealand, on the other hand, fell a long way short in the chase. Tim Robinson (32) and Dane Cleaver (26) were the only players who scored above 20. South Africa's bowling prowess helped them to bowl out New Zealand at 145, thus winning the game by 19 runs.

Here's how the fans on Twitter have reacted to the same.

He Predicted

During the match, fans expected that it might not go till the end. But one of them thought that a tight finish was coming into this game. And eventually that happened, as the Proteas made a comeback.

Self Collapse

Yes, the New Zealand fans were angry with yesterday's loss. They watched the batters fall quickly to the Proteas bowlers, which made them think that even the self collapse is now at peak.

Same Fashion

If there's someone who could've changed the game, it was James Neesham. But he gave three catches in four balls in the same fashion. The Proteas weren't good enough in the first two chances but well good in the last one.
