Laughter All Around as Captains Share Fun Moments Before IPL Photoshoot

The Captains photoshoot for the IPL 2026 has now been completed, and fans just can't wait for the season to begin. It will be 10 teams going against each other for two months to determine which one of them will win the title. The Captains photoshoot turned out to be interesting this time, as all the captains gathered together one last time. 

All the captains even played together, and several moments of the same were captured. Shreyas Iyer using the bowling machine to bowl to Axar Patel, Ruturaj Gaikwad bowling to Rishabh Pant, and a lot more. The captains had spent good times together in this event, as Star Sports even posted about the same on their social media handles. 

The videos of the event shared on social media have received a lot of love from the fans. While they may be rivals on the field, they share an intense friendship bond with each other. 

Our Take

The captains have taken their time to share the one last laugh together before the IPL 2026 begins. And it won't be shocking for the fans to see them showing aggression to each other in the games. This is also for the first time in a long time that all the teams have Indian captains. 

Pat Cummins was the only overseas captain this time, but he missed out on the captains photoshoot. Since he is unavailable for the start of the season, Ishan Kishan has been a part of the Captains photoshoot, with him also being the interim captain of the team.
