The cricket world has lost one of the most talented souls today, as Amanpreet Singh Gill passes away. He has also played with Virat Kohli in his Under-19 days, and was also a part of Kings XI Punjab in the inaugural season. Yuvraj Singh posted a heartfelt note on his demise to inform the fans.

Today, the cricket world mourns the loss of a talented player, Amanpreet Singh Gill. Very few cricket fans would have heard of his name, but he was active in the cricket scenario when the IPL started. Unfortunately, he lost his life at the age of 36, as the reason for his death still remains undisclosed to the fans.

Amanpreet Singh Gill played for the India Under-19 team in 2007. At this time, he also shared the field with Virat Kohli, as they were playing together for the team's victory for a long time. He also featured in domestic matches for Punjab, where he managed to take 11 wickets for the team in 6 first class matches.

He was also a part of Kings XI Punjab in the inaugural season of the IPL. Later he joined the selection committee of the Punjab team for a brief period. On his death, Yuvraj Singh posted by saying, “Deeply saddened to hear about Amanpreet Singh Gill's passing. I shared the dressing room with him in our early days; he was a quiet, hardworking cricketer who loved the game. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace. Om Shanti.”
