Rajasthan Royals once again got off to an aggressive start, as Yashasvi Jaiswal attacked Deepak Chahar. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi was also able to compliment him with his fearless stroke play. But that didn't last long, as Jasprit Bumrah arrived to dismiss both openers in quick succession, putting RR at 68/2 in the powerplay.
Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel were able to rebuild the innings well, as they attacked the spinners and even rotated strike well. The turning point arrived when Allah Ghazanfar dismissed Riyan Parag, when RR looked set to post a 200+ total on the board.
