Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Vijay, met with MRF executives recently. Amidst this, he was also presented with a bat signed by Virat Kohli. MRF is the long-standing sponsor of Virat Kohli, with the company being mainly known in the sports industry for the same.

We have seen various moments where cricket meets politics. But the recent moment which was captured involving the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has started to win hearts all over the internet. The new Chief Minister of the state recently had a meeting with the executives of MRF.

Although MRF is mainly a company known for its tires, this company is also a long-standing sponsor of the famous cricketer, Virat Kohli. The bats which are used by the King across all of his games over the last decade are having the sticker of MRF over them. In the meeting, MRF executives even decided to hand over something special to the Chief Minister.

And for this, what could be a better reward than a bat which is signed by Virat Kohli. This meeting took place to focus on the production and export of MRF products in the state. But Virat Kohli's signed bat being given to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has taken away all the attention from the moment.

Our Take

The moment which took place between the MRF executives and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay shows the strong popularity of Virat Kohli. During the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024/25, we also saw the Australian Prime Minister have a special time with the King, which shows that his popularity is not just limited to the politicians in India, but even beyond the borders. Even Rishi Sunak, former UK Prime Minister, tells that he loves watching Virat Kohli bat.
