Jose Mourinho charged by FA for the third time in the season

The Football Association(FA) might now have an entire records section dedicated to charges on Jose Mourinho. After being banned from the touchline for one match, the former Inter boss was also fined a total amount of £ 1,41,00 by the FA during his final season with Chelsea in 2015-16. 

But a shift from London to Manchester does not seem to have brought about a change in his demeanour. The Portuguese has already served a touchline ban for one match and fined an amount £50,000 for criticizing referee Anthony Taylor and lashing out at another referee Mark Clattenburg during a match earlier this month.

Now, the 53-year old's latest shenanigans have caused him to be charged for the third time this season. Referee Jon Moss angered Mourinho when he booked Paul Pogba for diving in Sunday's match against West Ham United to which the Red Devils' boss reacted by kicking a water bottle near the sidelines and was subsequently sent to the stands by the referee.

"Jose Mourinho has been charged following Manchester United's game against West Ham United on Sunday," tweeted the FA.

"It is alleged his behaviour in or around the 27th minute of the game amounts to improper conduct.

"He has until 6pm (1800GMT) on 1 December 2016 to respond to the charge."

Mourinho could be facing another touchline ban and an expected fine of £20,000 this time around. 

Sunday's 1-1 draw against the Hammers left United at 20 points from 13 matches, which is their worst start to a league campaign in almost 26 years.
