Indian defender Sandesh Jhingan & Co. suffered a humiliating 6-0 defeat against A-League Melbourne City FC in the Toyota Yaris La Liga World Cup at Kochi yesterday. Local Fans of KBFC took to Twitter to express their disappointment as Jhingan and coach David James responded to those comments.

With the 2018 season of the ISL just around the corner, the franchises have started bolstering their squad and gauging their preparations through the pre-season matches. And Kerala Blasters pre-season routine against opponents Australia's Melbourne City FC and Spain's Girona has been one of the more anticipated fixtures.

However, the yellow brigade started the pre-season on a completely wrong foot as they suffered a humiliating 6-0 defeat at the hands of as A-League side MCFC. Sandesh Jhingan & Co. were left embarrassed after a less than adequate performance at the back saw the visitors finding the goal as many as six repeatedly.

The visitors ran off to a two-goal lead courtesy of two first-half goals by Dario Vidosic and Riley McGree. However, when the defeat still looked respectable with Kerala Blasters seeming to get a grip of their pace and structure, four further goals from Wales, Ramy Najjarine, Bruno Fornaroli and McGree again, put the hosts to sword brutally.

The Indian fans at Blasters' home stadium, Kochi, were left extremely disappointed and while some of them took to Social Media site Twitter to vent out their frustration, some expressed their views, both positive and negative. Here are some of them.
