After months of negotiations between Arsenal and Celtic, the two sides have finally come to an agreement over a move for Kieran Tierney. The 22-year-old has been Arsenal boss Unai Emery’s top target this summer and a fee of around £25 million, with the Scottish star flying to London for his medical.

Arsenal have had a surprisingly good transfer window, with the club adding not one but three players this summer. They’ve brought in Dani Ceballos, club-record signing Nicolas Pepe, and William Saliba (who’s set to arrive next summer). However, with the departure of Laurent Koscielny, Carl Jenkinson and a potential move out for Shkodran Musatfi, Arsenal needed defensive reinforcements.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Celtic star Kieran Tierney, but no move has materialized with the Scottish side rejecting two bids for the full-back. The first bid was far too low for Celtic and while the second bid matched their valuation, it was filled with far too many bonuses and clauses.

However, now on Premier League’s transfer deadline day, the two sides have finally come to an agreement reports the BBC. The 22-year-old is set to fly to London to finish his medical and agree to personal terms with Arsenal before his move is officially confirmed. He should be the club’s second arrival today, with a move for David Luiz on the cards.
