Italian giants Juventus are starting to consider the possibility of signing Tottenham star Christian Eriksen on a free transfer, during the next transfer window. The English transfer window closed last Thursday but, clubs across Europe still have three more weeks to conclude their business.

BBC Sport has reported that Christian Eriksen has said that he would be interested in leaving England amid speculations of a move away. The likes of Manchester United, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have been linked with the 27 year old, but nothing has emerged yet.

Eriksen’s contract with Tottenham is in its final year, and he has refused to extend his contract with the North London club. The Bianconeri have built up a reputation in Europe for snapping up players for free. Amongst their free recruits, they have had some big names in the past and present. The list includes Aaron Ramsey, Adrien Rabiot, Emre Can, Dani Alves, and Andrea Pirlo among others.

The Turin based club has had great success with this policy of transfers and are eager to secure the Danish International in a similar fashion as well. Eriksen’s future remains cloudy as he has already rejected an improved offer from Spurs, and will probably run out the rest of the year on his contract, before securing a free move to elsewhere in Europe.
