After shoring up the team heavily, Kerala Blasters are reportedly looking to tour the UAE in their pre-season before the new season starts in few months. The side could finish only in the ninth position last season that saw the club appointing two different managers and sacking them both.

According to reports from Goal, Sharjah could be the potential destination for the club in the coming weeks as they would be looking to prepare in the best possible way ahead of the big 2019-20 season, where everyone is expecting a lot from the yellow army.

With most ISL clubs fielding a reserve side in the upcoming Durand Cup, the top franchises are expected to get down pulling their socks up only in the Super Cup, which would act as kind of a curtain-raiser ahead of the Indian Super League. And under new manager Eelco Schattorie, the Blasters are expecting to change fortunes, looking for their first title this season.

The Netherlands coach has come from the Highlanders after an impressive stint last season and has also brought in preferred striker Bartholomew Ogbeche and TP Rehenesh, who had starred for NorthEast United FC last season.

Apart from them, the Blasters management has invested heavily in filling all the voids in the squad in quite a grand manner as they have roped in midfielder and striker Mario Arques and Sergio Cidoncha from Jamshedpur FC, centrehalf Gianni Zuiverloon from Delhi Dynamos FC, and African import Moustapha Gning.
