RB Leipzig have first refusal on any move for RB Salzburg star Erling Haaland with the Bundesliga side linked with a move. The Norwegian striker has hit the spotlight after his performances in the Champions League and the Austrian Bundesliga, which has seen clubs from around England keen on a move.

Despite reports indicating that Erling Haaland visited both training grounds, Arsenal and Manchester United could miss out on the Norwegian starlet. The 19-year-old has been in phenomenal form for RB Salzburg and has been linked with a move to England, Germany, France, Italy and even Spain. But that could all change with the Daily Mail and the Mirror reporting that RB Leipzig have first refusal on a move for the teenage striker.

The report further added that since the two clubs share the same owner there is a contractual tie-up between the two branded clubs with a reported £25 million release clause. It’s a release clause that only Leipzig can activate which effectively gives them first refusal on a move. Not only that, RB Leipzig Sporting Director Markus Krosche hinted at a move for Haaland and reports have indicated that Julian Naglesmann wants the 19-year-old wonderkid in his team.

That does cause a few problems for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, with the Manchester United manager keen on a move for his former Molde star. He fits the vision that Solskjaer wants to implement with the Red Devils, with Moussa Dembele and Jadon Sancho also linked with a move.
