The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is likely to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with Croatian Football Federation during a meet in Zagreb. The main objective to forge the relationship was to offer technical support to India and also aid the development of football in the country.

An elite panel of the AIFF including general secretary Kushal Das, national team Director Abhishek Yadav and head coach Igor Stimac paid a visit to Zagreb to furthest talks about the matter as per the reports of Goal.com. The Indian delegates were hosted by football legend Davor Suker, currently the President of the Croatian Football Federation and CEO Marijan Kustic.

During the meet, the top officials discussed the possibility of helping Indian football with technical expertise. Among the future plans include four-nation tournaments involving Indian youth national teams and also Indian teams taking part in the Croatian League. Plans have been chalked out to provide infrastructure for the Indian national team.

Apart from that, there is a possibility of training and exposure tours for Indian coaches and goalkeepers, international youth tournaments for private clubs and AIFF credited academies at subsidised rates. Croatia might host top goalkeepers from India and train them under a Croatian goalkeeping coach.

Top officials of the Croatian Football Federation will be visiting India in the third week of November to expedite several proposals in consultation with AIFF President Praful Patel.
