Kylian Mbappe's below expectations performance makes fans and team question his form in the UEFA Champions League. Amidst this, PSG’s former manager Luis Fernandez talks about his recent form and struggles.

Kylian Mbappe has not been able to perform well for Real Madrid in this season and is suffering from a challenging start. He joined the team in the form of a free transfer, after being released by Paris Saint-Germain. Now, his previous team has shown some satisfaction after taking a look at his form.

Till now, Mbappe has scored 8 goals and 2 assists in the 16 matches he played for the team. Although the numbers are good, he's yet to find consistency in his form. When he went against Barcelona in his first El Clasico game, Real Madrid lost 4-0. A few days after this game, the team lost another game against AC Milan 3-1 in the UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid was able to regain its momentum before the FIFA International break, as the team won their previous match against CA Osasuna. Vinicius Junior was the main player of the team, as he scored a hat-trick for the team in the game, for a 4-0 win. However, Mbappe again failed to give a performance in this game.

Luis Fernandez, former manager and player of Paris Saint-Germain, spoke on his form saying,“For now, it’s difficult for him. One might have thought that with the quality he has, leaving PSG would allow him to go to Madrid with confidence, but at the moment, he doesn’t have it in him. He isn’t performing well enough to be truly effective. In France, he is being criticized.”
