Liverpool is eyeing to get Joao Pedro of Brighton, who has been in an extraordinary form in the current season. The team is looking forward to a replacement for Roberto Firmino and has tried multiple options for the same.

Roberto Firmino has been one of the most dominant players for the Liverpool team over the past few years. Since he's currently playing in the Premier League, the team might be looking forward to getting him back to the squad, as looking for his replacement has been challenging.

Jurgen Klopp, the team's manager, tried his best to look for a replacement for Roberto Firmino. He said in an interview that Firmino has been a unique phenomenon for his team and ever since his departure, they have always tried for a successor. First, they tried with Sadio Mane and moved to Cody Gakpo.

Since they were not able to fill in the void, Luis Diaz was also a part of the team but it has been impossible for them to look up to Firmino’s replacement. However, the team has their eyes on Joao Pedro, whom they will be targeting in the upcoming Transfer Window.

Pedro has not played many games for Brighton this season, as he was only featured completely in the game against Arsenal in August. After this, he went up to some minutes in the games for the team. He did perform well in the game against Bournemouth, where he scored the first goal and even helped with some assists. Since Liverpool tried getting him in 2019, the team is likely to try again.
