Kylian Mbappé had been suffering from a setback ever since the start of the season, both on and off the field. Fans were anticipating his comeback and he finally scored a much-awaited goal after a long time, in the La Liga match against Leganes, which took place on Sunday.

Carlo Ancelotti has backed Mbappé to take up the role of the team's attack, as Mbappé now plays the role of left wing. He was also able to prove himself worthy of the role by scoring a goal at Butarque. But, it should be noted that this chance was given to him after the injury of Vinicius Jr, who is set to be out for three weeks.

Real Madrid will be going against Liverpool in their upcoming match of the UEFA Champions League. Liverpool holds the top spot in the rankings with Real Madrid standing at the 18th spot. Kylian Mbappé will now be looking forward to maintaining his momentum and giving an advantage to his team's attack in the upcoming match.

Talking about his form and upcoming games, Mbappé said,“I think I put in a good performance, I'm starting to get up to speed with my team-mates. I can play in every position and I'm ready to help the team and give my all.”
