Angel Orelien opened the scoring in the 43rd minute, while David Castaneda 73rd-minute header sealed the win, marking his 10th goal of the season. For the I-League 2024-25 season, Sreenidi Deccan FC ended Rajasthan United's impressive 10-match unbeaten streak with a 2-1 victory at the Vidyadhar Nagar Stadium in Jaipur. Angel Gabriel Orelien opened the scoring in the 43rd minute with a brilliant solo effort, while David Castaneda Munoz doubled the lead in the 73rd minute, netting his 10th goal of the season to become the league's joint second-highest scorer. Rajasthan United responded quickly, with Maicol Cabrera heading home in the 75th minute, but it wasn't enough to avoid defeat.

Despite Rajasthan United's aggressive start and high-press strategy, they struggled to break down Sreenidi Deccan's resilient defence. Seiminmang Manchong and Naoba Meitei came close, but the visitors held firm. The win propelled Sreenidi Deccan to their fifth victory of the season, placing them ninth in the table with 19 points from 15 matches. Rajasthan United, with 21 points from the same number of games, retained their seventh-place standing.

Hardik Bhatt’s precise cross led to Munoz's decisive goal after Rajasthan goalkeeper Bhabindra Malla Thakuri misjudged the ball's flight. Rajasthan United pressed hard for an equalizer in the final minutes, but Sreenidi Deccan’s defence stood strong to secure the win.
