Sreenidi Deccan FC fell to a 0-1 defeat to Hero I-League champions RoundGlass Punjab in the final Group A match of the Hero Super Cup here on Sunday. The Deccan Warriors finished second behind Bengaluru FC in Group A as the latter qualified for the semifinal with a 1-1 against Kerala Blasters.

Sreenidi Deccan FC fought back from a goal down to earn a point against Bengaluru FC in the opening match of Group A of the Hero Super Cup 2023 here in Kozhikode. Javi Hernandez had given the Blues an early lead but Faysal Shayesteh levelled the score for the Deccan Warriors.

Sreenidi Deccan FC on Friday came from behind to record a 2-1 win over bottom-placed Kenkre FC in the I-League. With this win, they have moved to the second spot on the table which could change depending on the outcome of Gokulam Kerala’s game against Aizawl FC, later in the day.
