Chelsea has shown interest in signing the striker of Ipswich Town, Liam Delap, who is just 21 years old but has shown considerable form to the team. According to some reports, Delap is also available for a transfer to Stamford Bridge in the upcoming Transfer Window.
Chelsea has been able to perform well in the Premier League so far, as the team holds fourth spot in the rankings with 36 points. But some underwhelming performances in the last few games have made the point gap between them and Newcastle United to drop to just one point.
Enzo Maresca was also concerned with the goal scoring abilities of the team, as they have considerably declined over the past few games. It was expected that the team will not make bold moves in the January Transfer Window but two players in their defence, Benoit Badiashile and Wesley Fofana have been injured.
Although the team is looking forward to some options in the defence, they could also bring an attacking player to the line-up. Their striker Nicolas Jackson has scored just one goal in the last six games which has been a concern for Enzo Maresca.
