Coming to the I-League clash on March 18, 2025, SC Bengaluru secured a crucial 3-2 victory over Real Kashmir FC at the Bangalore Football Stadium. Bengaluru took an early lead in the 5th minute through Thomya Shimray, but Real Kashmir quickly turned the game around. Gnohere Krizo scored twice—once from the penalty spot in the 12th minute and again in the 32nd minute—to put the visitors ahead. Bengaluru, however, levelled the score before halftime when Shravan Shetty capitalized on a goalmouth scramble in the 36th minute.

Early in the second half, Faslurahman Methukayil scored the decisive goal in the 48th minute, exploiting a defensive error by Hyder Yousuf to restore Bengaluru’s lead. The hosts faced adversity when defender Sanatomba Singh was sent off in the 60th minute for a reckless tackle, leaving Bengaluru with 10 men. Real Kashmir mounted relentless pressure, hitting the post once, but failed to find an equalizer.

With this victory, SC Bengaluru climbed to 10th place with 20 points from 19 matches, moving out of the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Real Kashmir remained third with 32 points. Bengaluru’s resilient defensive effort in the final half-hour earned them a crucial win in their fight for survival.
