Lewandowski Linked With Juventus Move After Agent Holds Talks
Robert Lewandowski’s future at Barcelona remains uncertain as his agent Pini Zahavi reportedly met Juventus officials in Italy. The 37 year old striker is set to become a free agent next summer after his Barcelona deal expires. Lewandowski has scored 16 goals and 2 assists in 40 matches this season.
After the recent reports from Italy, uncertainty has started to grow around the future of Robert Lewandowski at FC Barcelona. According to Italian media, the striker’s agent, Pini Zahavi, recently traveled to Italy and met with representatives of several Serie A clubs, including Juventus FC, as speculation over the Polish forward’s next move continues to build. Lewandowski, now 37, is entering the final stages of his contract situation, with his current deal at Barcelona set to expire next summer.
This means the veteran forward could become a free agent, giving multiple clubs the opportunity to sign him without a transfer fee. Despite Juventus being linked with the player, the Italian club is currently focused on extending the contract of Dušan Vlahović before exploring other attacking options. The Turin side is also monitoring other forwards, including Randal Kolo Muani, who is expected to return to Paris Saint-Germain F.C. after his loan spell.
Lewandowski has still delivered solid numbers this season, scoring 16 goals and registering 2 assists in 40 appearances for Barcelona. Since arriving from FC Bayern Munich in 2022 for €45 million, he has remained a key figure, while attracting interest from AC Milan, clubs in Saudi Pro League, and Major League Soccer.
