Barcelona have made initial contact with Harry Kane’s representatives over a possible €100 million transfer from Bayern Munich. No official offer has been submitted, but the Spanish club is exploring the feasibility of signing the 32 year old striker.

Bayern remain firm on keeping Kane, with Uli Hoeness dismissing any chance of a transfer. In the latest transfer development, Barcelona have reportedly explored the possibility of signing England captain Harry Kane from Bayern Munich in a deal worth around €100 million. The Catalan club is believed to have contacted Kane’s representatives during June 2026 to assess whether a move could be possible, although no official offer has been made so far. Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023 and remains a key part of the German club’s plans.

Bayern’s honorary president Uli Hoeness publicly stated on May 24, 2026, that the striker will stay at the club and dismissed the idea of a transfer. He also questioned Barcelona’s ability to finance such an expensive move given the club’s well known financial challenges. Barcelona are looking to strengthen their attack as they continue their transition following Robert Lewandowski’s arrival in 2022 and the gradual need for a long term replacement.

Despite being 32 years old, Kane is viewed as a proven goalscorer capable of delivering immediate results at the highest level. The proposed move would require significant financial resources, including the €100 million transfer fee and substantial wages. While discussions remain at an early stage, Barcelona’s interest highlights their ambition to compete for major honours and invest in established world class talent.
