Delhi Daredevils leg-spinner Amit Mishra was reprimanded by the match referee on Saturday for using inappropriate language during their 27-run win over Kolkata Knight Riders at Delhi. The incident took place after the 33-year old spinner took a brilliant catch to dismiss Andre Russell.

“For Level 1 breaches of the IPL Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding,” said a media release from the IPL.Mishra took one wicket in his four over conceding 36 runs, and broke the dangerous-looking 44-run partnership between Andre Russell and Robin Uthappa by dismissing the former of his own bowling.
