Sachin Tendulkar has warned the Indian team to not take Australia for granted when they land for the upcoming series in February. But Sachin is confident that India will prepare to the best of their ability and deliver against the Aussies, who have had a bad history on Indian soil.

Indian Cricket Team, under the leadership of Virat Kohli, were in imperious form last year and did not lose even a single Test. On the other hand, Australia, who will travel for a four-match Test series against India, had a horrid second half to their year as they lost an away series to a mediocre Sri Lanka team and followed it up with a home loss to South Africa.

But Sachin Tendulkar has warned the Indian team to not take the Aussie team lightly.

“The last thing one would like to do is underestimate your opposition and Australia is a strong side. Yes, to play in Indian conditions it would be difficult and Australian players have also acknowledged that, which is a compliment to the Indian team to the way the Indian players are playing. But you cannot take things for granted,” Tendulkar said, reported PTI.

But the legend believes that India can deliver the sucker punch at the right time to win the series.

He said, "I have no doubt that our team will prepare to their best of the ability and deliver when it matters. Australians are going to be tough to handle and that's how it has always been. But I think I am confident of Indian team."
