A determined AB de Villiers has promised RCB fans a thriller against winless Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Having lost their last match against KXIP, RCB would be looking to get back to their winning ways and get some points, in this big away fixture against the Mumbai side.

Mumbai Indians, having lived up to their tag of slow starters, have not won even one game out of the first three games they have played so far. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore have managed to get only one win out of the three games that they have played. The two dynamic sides are set to face each other on a batting friendly track of Wankhede today and as much as the game will be about bragging rights, the teams will put their best foot forward to secure the important two points for the team.

RCB posted a video on Twitter which read, “You can see the determination in @ABdeVilliers17 eyes. The boys will be putting in their 100% for today's match! #MIvRCB #PlayBold #RCB”

In the video, AB was seen telling their fans to keep a close eye an on them and promised that they are going to win this match.

“We are playing Mumbai Indians tonight. Gary Kirsten is standing right behind the camera telling me what to say. We are very excited and all RCB fans keep an eye on us, we are going to win this game,” said the former South African captain.

Wankhede has always been heaven for the batsmen and any amount of score on this ground has never been considered as safe. Both the teams have enough explosive batsmen in their line-up to make the full use of this batting friendly track.

Both the matches played here have been close, with Mumbai landing on the other side of the win. Mumbai’s big hitters have not really joined the party and are yet to show their potential and this would be the perfect occasion for them to get going. On the other hand, RCB also have their own problems to address like the absence of a third seamer and a proper all-rounder.
