India vs England | We will sit and decide how to deal with Virat Kohli, reveals James Anderson

Even with the uneven English weather, James Anderson has made quite a name for himself in the series against India. With the second Test out of five match Test series at Lord's, Anderson will be out unleashing his fierceness, having the greatest wickets record than any other bowler in history at this venue.

However, he admitted that their greatest obstacle at the Lord's will be Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Though India lost the first Test to England by 31 runs, Kohli went to score 200 runs in both innings combined. Anderson believes they have to devise a way to evade the trouble that is Kohli.

As London seems to be clear of clouds for the moment, there is a lot of speculation about whether Anderson will able to succeed in getting a century of wickets at Lord's. As per predicted by the Curators by the Edgbaston pattern, they believe a slight dampness in the pitch will facilitate swing and seam bowlers.

Kohli, on the other hand, seemed quite assured in the first Test and successfully resisted any advance made by Anderson. Following his pattern, Hardik Pandya and Dinesh Karthik were also able to put up a strong front against Anderson.

“I am not sure about the adjustments he has made to his technique. I don't really look at his technique, for me what is important is what I want to do off the pitch and in the air. But yes, we will sit down and see how to deal with him.

“I think we bowled quite well to Kohli for the first 60-70 runs of his (first) innings. And then chances were dropped of him. You can't give the best batsman in the world chances when he is 20 and hope that he won't hurt you,” Anderson added.
