Mohammad Kaif reveals his all-time Indian XI, Favorite cricketer and the player who called him ‘Bus driver’

Former India U-19 captain Mohammad Kaif recently took to popular social media site - Twitter where he revealed his All-time Indian XI and also the name of his favorite cricketer among other fan queries. Kaif asked his followers to tweet questions they’d want him to answer using the hashtag #AskKaif.

Mohammad Kaif rose to fame when he guided the India U-19 team to the U-19 World Cup title in 2000 where he was captain and was regarded as one of the best fielders to have played for India due to his great athletic prowess and throwing skills. Kaif was most recently appointed as the fielding coach of the Chennai Super Kings franchise for the 2018 edition of the IPL.

The 37-year-old cricketer took to popular social media site Twitter yesterday in order to conduct an online Q&A with fans, where he answered their queries about his career and his thoughts on the current Indian team. One of the most controversial replies by Kaif was the one where he confirmed that former English cricketer Naseer Hussain called him a ‘Bus driver’ during the final ODI of the Natwest series in 2002.

After a fan asked Kaif if he was indeed called a 'Bus driver' by former England cricketer Naseer Hussain, Kaif replied,

On being questioned over the credibility of the impressive Indian team, Kaif said,

Kaif had this reply when asked if he ever endured sledging from Pakistan players throughout his career.

Like most Indian fans, Kaif had the same reply when asked who was his favorite batsman of all time

Kaif put together his all-time Indian Team XI which consisted of a few surprises
