In a game of cricket, you never know how you could be dismissed - be it because of your own fault or by an excellent delivery. However, today, for Chris Lynn, his own thigh proved to be his enemy as it slowly guided the ball onto his stumps to disturb the furniture and dismiss him in a bizarre way.

In an important encounter to keep their playoffs hopes alive, KKR knew that they needed to fire on all cylinders to get the better of the unpredictable Kings XI Punjab and for that, they needed their opening duo of Chris Lynn and Sunil Narine to give them a great start. While Narine was at his usual attacking self from the very beginning, Lynn took some time to get into the groove by playing out a few deliveries at the start.

While he hit a couple of fours and sixes each to make his intentions clear, he was also supported by the lady luck. But, it seemed like he was running out of it when Andrew Tye came out to bowl in the sixth over of the innings.

Lynn whacked him for a huge six over long-on to welcome Tye into the attack, but couldn't do the same in the next ball of the over as Tye bowled a short one around the leg side. While going to pull him over square leg, the ball clipped on his thigh and deflected off his glove before going on to hit the stumps. While Lynn was left stunned by the manner of his dismissal, it made no difference to Tye who increased his lead in the race for the purple cap.
