If Shane Warne made leg-spin fashionable once again in the 90's, Kuldeep Yadav is making it all the more famous through his left-arm wrist-spin. Today, he bowled two balls that turned from the off-stump line and turned so much that it missed the leg-stump, which left Virat Kohli stunned.

Kuldeep is the find of the season for the World Cup and everyone and their pet dog knows this. If MS Dhoni was a gift wrapped in the box to solve the India's wicket-keeping conundrum of the early 2000s, then the team couldn’t have been asked for anything better than Kuldeep Yadav to secure their third World Cup, come England 2019. His majesty was well on display today as the left-arm tweaker produced two Shane Warnish turn to leave Kohli stunned.

In the 23rd over of the innings, Kuldeep bowled one ball on the outside off line to which Keemo Paul played down the wrong line before being beaten on the inside edge. As a result, he was struck in front of off-stump and India appealed for the dismissal. However, the umpire was not interested in the appeal and sided with the batsman. But India took their chances and went upstairs to check the replays and what came out on the review made Windies happy, but it left Kohli awestruck as the ball was seen spinning from outside off to the leg side.

If that was not enough, Kuldeep decided to give his skipper another moment to be stunned about his ability. In the 29th over, Kemar Roach went fully forward to negate the tossed up delivery but ended up being beaten on the inside edge. The impact was never a question and the umpire thought it would have clipped the stumps as well. After the umpire raised his finger to give Roach out, the ball tracking showed that it went on to miss the stumps and the third umpire reversed his decision.

Both the decisions went in favour of the Windies, but it made Kohli happy for the amount of turn that his main weapon was generating. Because “Every cloud has a silver lining.”
