Phil Simmons believes that Virat Kohli is one of the key wickets of the Indian team and it will be difficult to get him out. West Indies have a new-look team under newly-appointed white-ball skipper Kieron Pollard and Simmons has told his players to not get intimidated and give their best.

T20 formats can be called as India's weakest formats as post the T20 World Cup win in 2007, India's progress in T20Is has been somewhat of a mixed bag. On the other hand, West Indies have been a T20 powerhouse having won two World T20 titles and always produced some of the most exciting games of cricket in the shortest format.

Thus the tussle between the two teams promises to be a cracking one and coach Phil Simmons has instructed his boys to play freely and express themselves. Simmons believes that Virat Kohli's wicket will be a key one to grab and sarcastically spoke about the ways he could get him out.

"One, I can make him bat with a stump. Two, we can sign a book and in the ODIs, we can give him a 100 and bowl at the rest of the players or we can make sure that our plans to him are spot on," Simmons told TOI.

"We can make sure that the bowlers don't get too scared of him. But in the end, maybe two can bowl at him at the same time. You never know what can happen but it's a difficult proposition to get Virat Kohli out," he added.

Simmons has urged his players to use their experience against India on their tour last year as an inspiration and believe in themselves that they are no less talented than the Indian team.

"Last year we had some T20s and ODIs in India and we weren't miles apart. We had one game where I think we were tied. So we weren't that far apart," Simmons asserted.

India have become a force to reckon with and they have shown it in the past 18 months or so that they can beat any team anywhere in the world and the fact that the West Indies are facing India in their home conditions, Simmons believes that it will be very tough for his boys to pull off an upset.

"We have to look back at what we did then and see how much we can add to that now because they have added things to their games. We have to make sure that we have to get better than last time because India is not easy. India is India," Simmons concluded.

Former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has claimed that Jasprit Bumrah is like a baby bowler to him as he had already faced many legends in his time. Bumrah has been tormenting batsmen in all three formats since his debut but Razzaq stated that he would have had no difficulty in dominating him.
