VIDEO | Mosaddek Hossain vents out after Liton Das’ wayward throw gives fumbling batsmen extra life

Bangladesh's fielding has been lackadaisical and some of their brainless throws resulted in some easy run-out going haywire. Today, despite Afghanistan batsmen finding themselves in the middle of the wicket, Liton Das' wayward throw went haywire and left Mosaddek Hossain frustrated.

On the second delivery of the 21st over, Hashmatullah Shahidi drove a Mosaddek Hossain delivery to cover for a single and while a run was never on offer, Shahidi called his partner Asghar Afghan for a single. By the time, Liton Das could get hold of the ball, the duo was stranded in the middle.

By then Hossain was excited and was ready to collect the ball to send the batsman packing, but instead of standing behind the wicket to receive it, he was dancing in front of the wicket, which definitely added to Das’ ineffectiveness. While the duo was still confused whether or not to complete the single, Das fumbled at his fielding position.

That eventually resulted in Das making a terrible throw and by the time Hossain collected it, Shahidi had already reached the non-striker’s end. Hossain was not a bit happy by it and he vented out his frustration by throwing the ball on the surface.
