VIDEO | Hardik Pandya “flaunts his muscles” after smashing Mohammed Siraj out of Chinnaswamy

Hardik Pandya can hit and no one doubts that. But if there was any section of fans who doubted his clean-hitting potential in T20 cricket, he silenced all and sundry with a terrific six off Mohammed Siraj which literally went out of the stadium, and then flaunted his biceps in front of RCB pacer.

One of the primary roles that Hardik Pandya essays brilliantly in the T20 cricket is clean-hitting. He has done it time and time again for the Mumbai-based franchise and in a small stadium, like the Chinnaswamy, he was always going to be a threat for Bangalore, even though they pulled up their socks in the middle overs. And when the blitz arrived, the fielders were safe, but the people stuck in the MG Road-Cunningham Road traffic definitely weren’t.

On the penultimate delivery of the innings, Siraj bowled a full ball, almost on the arc, and considering the fact that the all-rounder had already pre-meditated to go deep to the crease, it was going to be ineffective. Pretty much to the plan, Pandya stayed deep in the crease and used his wrists to send the ball into the Bangalore sky.

The mad Bangalore traffic would have suffered the wrath of it as the ball left the stadium and seemed like it landed near Cubbon Park - one of Bangalore’s quietest places. As soon as it happened, Pandya, a very different person now, couldn’t keep up with his newly acquired nice-boy image and flaunted his biceps to Siraj.
