Brett Lee has stated that Harbhajan Singh has been bowling with a proper plan for every batsman and he is particularly impressed with the way Harbhajan is imparting the revolutions. The former Indian off-spinner has taken 16 wickets from 10 matches so far in the ongoing edition of the IPL.

Harbhajan played a crucial role in Chennai Super Kings’ six-wicket win over Delhi Capitals in the second eliminator game to ensure that the team reached their eighth final in the 10 seasons they have played in the IPL. In the process, the Punjab-born cricketer became only the fourth cricketer in the history of IPL to get to 150 wickets after Lasith Malinga, Amit Mishra, and Piyush Chawla. After the off-spinner reached the milestone, Twitter was flooded with wishes for the cricketer and Brett Lee joined in the praise for the CSK’s one of the prime calling cards.

"He knows exactly where to bowl for certain batsmen. His bowling was outstanding, he got some beautiful shape on the ball again. I love the revolutions of the ball. That tells us that he has good control of the ball. He is bowling with confidence," the former fast bowler told PTI.

Last night, Harbajan finished with figures of 2/31 to help CSK restrict Delhi Capitals to 147/9 and then the defending champions reached the target to win by six wickets. The two wickets that Harbhajan took was very important in the context of the game as it involved none other than Shikhar Dhawan and a young yet attacking Caribbean batsman Sherfane Rutherford.

Harbhajan brought the ball from the flighted trajectory position and then found the pace of the deviate against both kinds of batsmen and Mike Hesson stated that he can bring in the LBW both against the left and the right-handers.

"His stand is basically right-handers vs left-handers. Just shows how good a bowler he is. He can bring in the LBW both against the left and the right-handers," Kings XI Punjab coach Mike Hesson said.
