Mumbai Indians trade in Trent Boult from Delhi Capitals

New Zealand's seasoned paceman Trent Boult has been roped in by the Mumbai Indians franchise for the thirteenth season the Indian Premier League (IPL). Boult was traded by Delhi Capitals, the team that had the services of the fast bowler for two seasons of the marquee T20 league.

Delhi Capitals would like to announce the successful trade of Kiwi fast bowler Trent Boult to Mumbai Indians for the 2020 season of the VIVO Indian Premier League.

“I want to take this opportunity to thank Trent for the time he spent with us, and his contribution to the Delhi team,” said Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal on the development. “I wish him all the very best for his stint with Mumbai Indians which I am sure will be a successful one.”

Apart from Delhi, Trent Boult has represented Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders in the past. The 30 year old has 38 scalps to his name across 5 seasons of the IPL. His standout season was in 2018 when he took 18 wickets from 14 games for the Delhi Daredevils.
