Two wickets apiece from Gujarat’s frontline bowlers - Roosh Kalaria, Chintan Gaja, Axar Patel, and Tejas Patel - helped the team bowl out Bihar for a paltry 126, before chasing it down with seven wickets to spare in Jaipur. This was Gujarat’s fifth consecutive win at this year’s tournament.

Bihar skipper Ashutosh Aman’s decision to bat first backfired instantly when Chintan had Shasheem Rathour caught behind for nought in the very second over of the match. The early jolt had a lasting effect as the Bihar innings never gathered momentum throughout its 41.2 overs. Only four batsmen made double figures, with Sachin Kumar top-scoring with an unbeaten 44.

The reply was a canter for the Parthiv Patel-led side, and despite losing three wickets, Gujarat finished the job inside 20 overs. Priyank Panchal top-scored with a 28-ball 40, while all the batsmen registered double-digit scores.

Meanwhile, in one of the other games in Jaipur, Parvez Rasool’s heroic 118 not out led Jammu & Kashmir to a four-wicket last-over win over Railways. Batting first, Railways put up 285 for six on the board with the help of fifties from skipper Arindam Ghosh (64) and wicket-keeper Dinesh Mor (70). In reply, J&K’s skipper Rasool’s ton with cameos from Shubham Pundir, Fazil Rashid, Abdul Samad, and Ram Dayal saw their team to their second win.

The latest concluded match between Bengal and Rajasthan saw a centurion carrying his team through to a win. Abhishek Raman’s 122 not out helped Bengal chase down 265 with an over to spare, delivering their third win of the tournament.
