PCB revoke Mohammad Hasnain's NOC to play in Caribbean Premier League ; ask him to return to Pakistan
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) have sensationally revoked speedster Mohammad Hasnain's no-objection certification (NOC) to compete in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The 19-year-old pace sensation has been called back to play Pakistan's premier 4-day competition Quaid-e-Azam trophy.
Mohammad Hasnain is a name that has been reverberating among the cricketing fraternity for the past few months, thanks to the teenager's exquisite pace. At just 19 years of age, Hasnain has already represented Pakistan in 6 international matches and was also a part of the 2019 World Cup squad though not making an appearance.
Unsurprisingly, the speedster was snapped up by the Trinbago Knight Riders for the 2019 edition of the CPL and the teenager even took six wickets in his first four matches of the competition. However, the PCB have now sensationally decided to revoke his NOC and have called him back to Pakistan in order to get him participating in the country's premier four-day competition, Quaid-e-Azam trophy.
Hasnain, despite being just 19 years of age, can bowl up to speeds of 150 kmph and this in turn has ended up catching the eye of T20 franchises all over the world. Many an expert expressed their disappointment over the team management's decision to not play him in the World Cup, with many even opining that he could have made a difference in the match against India.
