There is no better sight in cricket than a fast bowler nailing a yorker A comparable occurrence unfolded during the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants where the home side’s speedster Mitchell Starc delivered an exceptional yorker that shattered all three stumps.

‌The home team capitalized on winning the toss, swiftly dismissing Lucknow's opener Quinton de Kock in the second over. The Super Giants faced further setback losing Deepak Hooda by the fifth over. Despite KL Rahul and Ayush Badoni's partnership, Lucknow reached 49/2 in the powerplay and 72/2 in 10 overs. However, a 44-run stand between Krunal Pandya and Nicholas Pooran cruised the side to 155/5 in 19 overs. However, the last over bowled by Starc saw Pooran going back to the hut and the 34-year-old Aussie finished Lucknow’s batting with a great yorker.

On the final delivery of the 20th over, Starc unleashed a masterful yorker that seemed to morph into a pinpoint jaffa. Arshad Khan, caught off guard, aimed for a straight shot but misjudged the trajectory of the 142 kmph delivery. The ball resembling a tracer bullet, swiftly found its mark shattering all three stumps as Arshad made his way back to the pavilion.

The Twitterverse erupted with praise for Starc's return to form, celebrating his impeccable yorker delivery.
