Although he timed the fuller delivery outside the stumps perfectly, the ball ended up being caught inside the thirty-yard circle, courtesy of an extraordinary effort from Miller. The Proteas veteran swerved to his right in quick time to pluck the hard-hit ball out of thin air. It seemed almost like a hawk plucked its prey within a fraction of a second. Witnessing Miller’s jaw-dropping catch, Varma and the spectators at St George’s Park were dumbstruck with the camera focusing on an individual covering his mouth in utter shock.
