Tensions and rivalries often dominate cricket, but moments of humour can emerge from the frustrating situations. A light-hearted yet competitive exchange unfolded during the final session of the second day where Marnus Labuschagne found himself in a hilarious run-out banter with Yashasvi Jaiswal.

‌The Indian pacers dismissed Australia for a mere 104 runs, taking a 46-run lead into lunch. After the break, KL Rahul and Yashasvi Jaiswal displayed solid technique, initially moving cautiously to 27/0 in 10 overs before accelerating to 52/0 in 15 overs, pushing the lead to 98 runs. The Australian bowlers struggled to make an impact as the Indian openers continued to dominate, reaching 84/0 in 26 overs, with a commanding lead of 130 runs. In the final session, the duo maintained their steady progress, bringing the score to 101/0 in 38 overs and extending the lead to 147 runs.

Amid Australia’s mounting frustration, a lighthearted moment emerged between Marnus Labuschagne and Yashasvi Jaiswal. During a pause in play, Jaiswal comfortably completed a single and made his ground at the crease. However, Labuschagne, holding the ball, saw Jaiswal standing well within the crease and playfully gestured as though he was about to attempt a run-out. In return, Jaiswal mockingly challenged him, asking if Labuschagne could actually run him out. The humorous exchange quickly caught the attention of Twitter, with fans sharing the moment and laughing at the playful banter between the two.
