In high-pressure situations, staying calm and composed is crucial, and sometimes acknowledging the opposition’s skill is a sign of true sportsmanship. Travis Head displayed this quality in the first session of the fourth day, where he took a moment to compliment Harshit Rana on his superb delivery.

‌The Indian bowlers were in full control at Perth, dominating the Australian batters with ease. By the end of the third day, Australia had lost three wickets, leaving them with a tough task ahead, needing 534 runs to win. On the fourth day, the overnight pair of Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith took to the crease, but things didn’t improve much. Mohammed Siraj struck early, dismissing Khawaja, and bringing Travis Head to the crease. While Head and Smith briefly steadied the ship, taking the score to 59/4, debutant Harshit Rana continued to impress with his bowling, earning a compliment from Head for one of his deliveries.

On the second ball of the 21st over, Rana delivered a back-of-a-length ball around the fifth stump at 137 km/h. Head rocked back, slightly bent his back leg, and attempted to cut, but was beaten by the outside edge as the ball whizzed past him. After judging the delivery, Head remarked “bounce,” signaling his read of the ball's trajectory. With a touch of humour, once the delivery had passed, he looked at Rana and said, “Well bowled,” acknowledging the quality of the delivery. This moment quickly gained attention on social media, with fans reacting to Head’s sporting gesture and sharing it across platforms.
