Beyond the raw talent of any sporting genius lie the intangible gifts of anticipation and game awareness that sets them apart from the rest. Rishabh Pant has long been held in such high repute and proved exactly why at the Chinnaswamy on Thursday by accurately foretelling Will Young's dismissal.

Long renowned as an extraordinary talent, Rishabh Pant has quickly matured into a great reader of the game at the Test level and proved his mettle both with bat and gloves on the international stage. On THursday, he added another feather of his cap and simultaneoulsy added to his growing collection of stump mic gems when he asked Kuldeep Yadav at short third-man to remain ready for an opporutnity, only for Will Young to oblige by top-edging a sweep that was caught comfortably by the left-arm wrist spinner. Even the likes of bowler Ravindra Jadeja, skipper Rohit Sharma and veteran Virat Kohli were quick to acknowledge that the plan had worked dividends through a carousel of amusing celebrations.

What a prediciton from Pant!

What a wicket!

Jaddu for you!

Nice one!

Yes!

LOL!

And he gets him!

He was looking good out there!

yeah he does!
