However, the throw missed the mark at the bowler's end, and the ball was relayed to mid-wicket. Shan Masood then made an incorrect throw, allowing the Bangladeshi batsmen to snatch an extra run. The fielding lapse drew criticism on social media, with many expressing their frustration at Pakistan's fielding errors.
