Tensions run high on the cricket field, especially during an India-Australia clash, where the stakes are always elevated. A similar scenario unfolded on the second day of the final Test where Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah gave Sam Konstas an earful for his contentious behaviour the previous day.

‌After a thrilling first day, the match took a dramatic turn as tensions flared between Jasprit Bumrah and Sam Konstas. A heated exchange between the two marked the end of day one, with emotions carrying over into the second day. Konstas, already under pressure for his behavior, found himself at the center of more taunts and challenges.

In the 11th over of Australia’s innings, Bumrah’s tight bowling made it difficult for Konstas to find his rhythm. After the first delivery, Virat Kohli approached Konstas, pointedly remarking to Bumrah, “He’s your man.” Bumrah responded with two impeccable good-length deliveries, forcing Konstas into reckless shots that failed to yield results. With a grin, Bumrah walked back to his mark and, caught on the stump mic, quipped, “Playing like number ten.” The jab suggested that Konstas, a top-order batter, was struggling like a tailender. The comment quickly caught fire on Twitter, with fans dissecting the ongoing Bumrah-Konstas clash, which had begun the previous day.
