Tilak, feeling the need to disrupt the veteran before he gets into rhythm, tried to take the challenge head-on by launching the next delivery towards long-off in hopes of clearing the fence. However, the connection was far from perfect, and the Kookaburra seemed to be heading straight down the throat of Sam Curran stationed near the rope. Unfortunately for the Englishman, he was stood a couple of yards too far inside the boundary, and as he tried to pedal back while keeping his eyes fixated on the white rock, his feet gave away leading to a tumble while the ball sailed over his head for a maximum.

Tilak could not help but sport a cheeky smile even as Curran raised a hand in apology to an exasperated Jadeja, the latter's emotions accurately mirroring the Whistle Podu Army's emotions on Twitter.
