Electing to field first after the toss favoured Hardik Pandya, Mumbai Indians got off to a great start with the cricket ball. Having conceded 18 runs in his two overs and bagged three wickets, captain Hardik backed the left-arm pacer against dangerous ‘Dre-Russ’. He conceded a four on the first delivery of the thirteenth over before coming back strong and shattering the stumps. On the fourth ball of the very same over, Ashwani bowled straight at the stumps on a good length, and Russell missed on a wild swing to end up hearing the death’s knell, spurring a Twitterverse frenzy.
