Cricket, unlike football, is a non-contact sport but it is often hilarious when players come together on the field accidentally. Ravindra Jadeja, while completing a catch from Jacob Bethell, found to his horror as he collided with Matheesha Pathirana and dropped the ball during the RCB vs CSK match.

‌RCB, aiming to win their second home game on the trot and go on top of the points table, got off to a blazing start after being put into bat first racing to 41/0 within the fourth over. Openers Jacob Bethell and Virat Kohli looked in majestic touch smashing three sixes and four fours and threatening to run away with the match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium when CSK got a chance to slow things down.

In the fifth ball of the fourth over, Bethell chased a short of a length delivery outside off-stump from Anshul Kamboj hitting it straight up. Jadeja, who was stationed at point, ran backwards and almost completed the catch but bumped into Pathirana charging in from third man. In the impact of the collision, the ball slipped from the all-rounder's hands as he ended up hitting the Sri Lankan pacer’s chin.

Fortunately, the collision did not have much impact on both the players but Jadeja’s face was writ with disappointment as he signalled it was his catch. The twitteratti were in splits after watching the proceedings and the Bengaluru crowd could not hide their smiles as the opening partnership continued strongly.

OMG!

That's hilarious caption!

Hahaha!

Bad move there!

LOL!

That's so scary!

Really?

It shouldn't have happened!
