‘GG’ Enters the Family Iyer’s Sister Shares Adorable Cat Moment

Shreyas Iyer's sister, Shresta Iyer, has made the headlines yet again. And this time it is not due to a controversial reel posted on any franchise or team. It is due to another video she posted on her social media handles where she introduced her new pet cat to the fans. 

In the video, she is holding her new pet cat and tells the fans its name. To everyone's surprise, Shresta Iyer has named her JiJi, and as soon as she took this name, fans couldn't stop themselves from relating it to Gautam Gambhir. The Indian Head Coach and former KKR Mentor is also being called as GG, which is a short form of his name. 

The video continued with Shresta Iyer teaching her cat to react when she says chicken. But all over the internet, fans have wildly reacted to this video, saying that it has targeted the Indian Head Coach, Gautam Gambhir.

Upon taking a look at her post, it can be noted that Shresta Iyer has not named her cat as GG, she has named her as JiJi. While the name sounds similar, they both have different meanings. One is a Marathi word but the other is used as a short form for the Indian Head Coach, Gautam Gambhir. Taking a look at her previous controversies, it remains to be seen how fans will continue to interpret the same and react on her social media posts.
