Samson was present in an interview with Rohan Bopanna, where they talked a lot about both games.

And during the same, Samson was also asked which cricket player would be like the tennis version of legends. Samson compared Dhoni as the Roger Federer of cricket, and Virat Kohli as Carlos Alcaraz. He said, “The Roger Federer of cricket? It has to be MS Dhoni. He is very calm and composed in the way he goes about his business. When he performs, it looks effortless yet very powerful.”

For Virat Kohli, Sanju Samson said, “Carlos Alcaraz, on the other hand, is very explosive, much like how Virat Bhai started. Maybe Virat Kohli can be compared to Alcaraz. He is very aggressive and full of power and explosiveness.”

Our Take

The moment of interaction between Sanju Samson and Rohan Bopanna is not just about cricketers as tennis players, it is also about the collaboration of two sports. As the Wimbledon arrives next month, fans will be able to see various cricket players attending the Wimbledon matches, which makes the event a big relation for the Tennis and cricket players. With Federer having a calm and composed nature, Dhoni fits his character well in cricket. And the same even goes for Virat Kohli, as he has been aggressive and explosive like Carlos Alcaraz.
